Shake Your Groove Thang

Kristin Smith is a woman of many talents. Croquet, Bocce Ball and some of the wittiest emails writings you will ever receive. Some things you may not know about her include: her love of southern indian food, she pronounces "Bill" like "Belle" and her deep, driven, unwavering love for DISCO.

Kristin's Disco Freak Out Dance Party! Mix lifted the club to its highest highs (after one of the lowest lows) and got everyone boppin in their chairs. Especially Diana Won and Todd Stolarski. Although you probably couldn't stop those kids from boppin to most anything with a beat if you tried. A FUNKALICIOUS BEAT.

All Things Go, All Things Go.

Hold Me Now

My first contribution to the face omelet blog and it is basically just going to be photos of things that don't really feature cds. Or music. But really just the adorableness of our special guest: ROSIE!

I think my favourite part is tied for when Di got to hold her and subsequently started repeating "I WILL NEVER LET YOU GO!! I WILL NEVER LET YOU GO!" Or when Sauce picked her up and immediately gave us all the picture dictionary example of happiness:

Hey-ooo

an era of the music industry died today along with the king of pop. folks here at the omelet, along with scores across the globe are mourning the unexpected loss. thankfully, he left an indelible imprint behind. goodnight sweet prince.
a nice number from a young Ed from his album "What Do yYou Want to be When You Grow Up?", it's almost like he's telling us an important message now that he's up on the couch with Johnny. Listen here

Paul Mawhinney was born and raised in Pittsburgh. Over the years he has amassed what has become the world's largest record collection. Due to health issues and a struggling record industry Paul is being forced to sell his collection. This is the story of a man and his records.

editor's note: please watch with caution. immediately upon completion, i began throwing money at vinyl in all directions; culminating with the purchase of this forthcoming spectral sound white label from audion aka matthew dear.

Just so you are aware...of the exciting things happening in music currently.

I thought I'd post this little ditty by one Olle Hemmingsson, and his little trio, well actually it's a quartet, but one of the members happens to be his old, trusty tractor. Just for the record this scandanavian claims it keeps better time than half the drummers he's played with, which is two. Just a is a little slice of current rural musical life for all the face omeleteers!

All The best-
Snyde.
