chorus

what do judy garland, muhammad ali, and the alexandrov red army ensemble of lenningrad all have in common?...........none of them exist in the form in which we fell in love with them. additionally, they're all contained within this choral gem of a compilation. here, dana keeps it strictly oral here over twenty-seven broad reaching tracks.

oof-dah

the dog in this photo wishes he was resting on the warm and inviting lap of The Omelet's own Ben Stein. Instead, old yeller gets to hang out with this bland credit score peddling curmudgeon. Fortunately, we've all been treated to an introductory compilation from the REAL ben stein that you can download below.

mush mouth

The proud man in the photo above is most certainly not the President of Face Omelet's Atlanta Wing, Jay Edwards. This gem of a gent is Cleveland legend "Mushmouth" Mariano Pachetti. In the 70's, he dominated the sport of competitive pizza eating. A regular on "The Hoolihan & Big Chuck Show," he displayed the uncanny skill to devour a pie in minutes. For this comp, our very own Jay Edwards shows us this ability translated to the world of compact discs.

dana & brian go to oz

two of our very own touched down in sarah's motherland to spread the good word of face omelet...and hang with fun comic book folks. along they way, they encountered punky girl bands and a koala bear named barnacle. sadly, only one of those is included here in their nod to all things down under.

freaks, faggots, drunks, & junkies

it's difficult to tell whether jake's intention here was to highlight some of the more socially transgressive artists of our time or if he was simply just trying to make a commentary about his friends. one thing is for certain; it's destined to remain one of life's greatest mysteries.

va - cd club march compiled by dana snyder

undoubtedly the most schizophrenically eclectic introductory offering, dana delivers everything from praise filled american standard bathtub jingles to a western electric training guide for comprehending black americans...all served with a side of a decades old recording of a coney island freak-show barker doing his thing. shockingly, there's music too. lancelot layne and taj mahal bring things to a head just before dana as dana sits down with american screen legend burt reynolds for an insightful one-on-one interview. mr. reynolds, himself, wraps up the disc with a controversial gem of a track entitled "she's taken a gentle lover". burt may be interested to know that the above photograph could prove to be hard evidence as to why she may have done exactly just that.
